As a Trade & Working Capital Operations Analyst within the Specialty Product team at JPMorganChase you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations for trade finance products. Your work will ensure efficient transaction handling adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous improvement in operational processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and manage daily operations for trade finance products ensuring transactions are handled within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as changes occur.
  • Drive efficiency by implementing best practices and seeking opportunities for process improvement.
  • Engage in new deals attend project management calls and facilitate smooth migrations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements in daily operations.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience in Trade Finance Operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Rules used in Trade Finance including UCP 600 ISBP ISP URR and URC.
  • Good understanding of Anti-Boycott and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Regulations.
  • Proficiency in handling payment messages such as MT103 MT202 MT101.
  • Experience in account reconciliation and handling trade payment entries (Nostro Wash SAP etc.).
  • Certification in Trade Finance such as Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) by IFSA London.
  • Positive attitude willingness to learn and contribute to the business.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience in project management within trade finance.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in trade finance operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
