Job Overview
Join ALIQAN Technologies as a Microsoft Playwright expert in a mid-level position. This remote role is on a contract basis located in Noida. Candidates should have a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. We are seeking someone skilled in test automation and playwright.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Playwright with demonstrable expertise in executing and automating test scripts.
- Strong background in test automation frameworks and tools with a preference for hands-on experience in Microsoft Playwright.
- Ability to design and implement robust automated test cases to ensure software quality and efficiency.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines effectively.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript for developing and maintaining automation scripts within the Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Must have attention to detail with a knack for identifying existing and potential bugs in complex applications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on improving existing test cases and creating new approaches when necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for interacting with team members and clients frequently.
- Experience working remotely and independently managing time and workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Skills in Playwright (Mandatory skill) and Test Automation (Mandatory skill) are essential for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality test automation scripts using Microsoft Playwright tailored to specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define drive and implement software testing strategies.
- Identify quality issues and ensure that best practices in software development and test automation are maintained across projects.
- Integrate test automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient testing workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions providing valuable input to enhance testing strategies and product quality.
- Report defects and work closely with development teams to resolve critical issues in a timely manner maintaining product integrity.
- Conduct regular performance and regression testing continuously optimizing testing processes for better outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends technologies and automation tools to advise on potential improvements.
