Full job description
We have a need for a Senior Cloud Engineer in Nashville or remote reporting to the Senior Director Solutions Architect). This is a 12-month contract position working a regular business week.
If in Nashville it will be a hybrid home/office with 3 of 4 rotating scheduled days Monday-Thursday in office and Fri work from home. Occasionally based on need could be up to 5 days in office. Nashville is much preferred but exceptionally well qualified remote candidates will be considered.
- Candidate will work in a team size of about 5 within an IT team of about 100. Majority of the team is in Nashville with other members remote globally
Required:
- 5 years specializing in AWS Cloud Services Operations
- 3 years experience with deploying using CICD Gitlab and CloudFormation
- 4 years experience with AWS Serverless Technology
- 5 years experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure fulfillment tasks
- 3 years scripting in languages such as Bash and Python
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional
- 2 years experience with DMS
- 5 years experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure fulfillment tasks
- Experience with Cloud Networking Cloud WAN
- Strong diagnostic capabilities
- Experience working with Application and Development teams.
- Strong communication skills able to communicate solutions and issues to both IT and non-IT
- Self-driven and able to handle projects independently.
- Strong experience with IT Systems administration
- Proven leader who motivates inspires and teaches others.
- High level of accountability; willing to take ownership and solve problems
