Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly Required)
Location: Multiple U.S. Locations 100% Onsite
Openings: 10 Positions
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Compensation: $200000 $300000 base Full Benefits Relocation
About the Opportunity
Northwest Talent Solutions is hiring Software Engineers on behalf of a premier federal contractor supporting one of the most nationally significant and fast-paced mission environments in the country. This program delivers next-generation enterprise security advanced analytics and cloud-based capabilities. Youll join a high-performing Agile team supporting real-time operational systems critical to U.S. national security.

What Youll Do
-
Develop test and deploy scalable software in a DevOps and Agile/SAFe environment
-
Use modern engineering tools to write reliable efficient and modular code (Java Python C/C)
-
Participate in sprint planning backlog refinement and behavior-driven development (BDD)
-
Collaborate with engineers testers and product owners to meet mission-critical timelines
-
Build test automation reusable components and shared libraries across teams
-
Ensure code security and performance standards are met from day one
Required Qualifications
-
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (no exceptions)
-
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (experience may substitute)
-
Strong Java development experience
-
Proficiency with several of the following:
-
Python C/C SQL PowerShell PERL SOAP/WSDL
-
Eclipse Jenkins Postgres Oracle
-
UI technologies (HTML XML XSLT)
-
-
Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux platforms
-
Proven track record working in Agile teams with secure coding principles
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

JEE Tomcat WebLogic JBoss

Behavior/Test Driven Development (BDD/TDD) Selenium Cucumber

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
-
Secure software development (Layer 7 policy-based enforcement)

SAFe certification or experience in a SAFe team environment

High-level requirements analysis and continuous integration workflows
