Job Description

Preconstruction Project Manager

Juno Beach FL 33408
12-month contract

Overview of the Role:
Join our clients dynamic Engineering & Construction team and play a pivotal role in advancing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from conception to construction readiness. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate complex high-impact renewable energy projects that are shaping the future of sustainable power generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily project activities across Development Engineering Estimating Supply Chain Scheduling and Construction teams
  • Manage critical coordination of highly matrixed project development teams
  • Develop and optimize project technical scope to improve feasibility
  • Support PPA and GIA negotiations with origination teams
  • Present financial models to business units and manage executive budget approvals
  • Competitively source and negotiate commercial contracts for critical services
  • Ensure seamless project handover to Construction Project Managers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
  • Experience with renewable energy projects particularly battery storage systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication financial analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interface with executive leadership and various stakeholders
