Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $17.00 Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10-15 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct Internal Audits
- Assist in performing audits of financial and operational processes including cash handling and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure compliance with regulation and internal policies.
- Monitor Purchasing Card Transactions
- Review purchasing card activity for compliance with regulation and organizational policies identify irregularities and assist in preparing audit summaries and reports.
- Support Audit Documentation and Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of audit workpapers documenting findings and contribute to drafting audit reports with actionable recommendations for process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Accounting and finance majors preferred
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
