Wash Technician - Seasonal
We are getting busy and looking for a Wash Technician for the summer months!
Are you passionate about cars and eager to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Wash Technician.
Who are we
Motor Werke is a locally owned independent service and repair shop specialising in European and Import vehicles with 12 service bays and over 20 of the best team members (and dogs) anyone could ask for. We pride ourselves on offering the highest level of customer service maintaining a clean and organised shop and allowing our people to work with all brands and build on their skills through various training options.
The position:
As a Wash Technician you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of vehicle cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver sparkling clean results will contribute directly to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and thoroughly wash vacuum and clean customer vehicles to the highest standard both inside and out.
- Ensure all vehicles are handled safely and with care minimising the risk of damage.
- Collaborate with the Service Advisors to coordinate wash schedules and prioritise tasks for efficient workflow.
- Perform visual inspections to identify and report any existing or potential issues with vehicles.
- Uphold a friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with customers.
- Assist in tasks around the shop including opening and closing duties.
Qualifications:
- A valid Class 7 or 5 drivers license is mandatory with the ability to operate a manual vehicle.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina to withstand the job demands including standing bending and lifting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
