Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team for the General Common Areas Cleaner role. This position is designed to focus on general cleaning for specific spaces for S&C Team Members.
Work Arrangement:Onsite
Work Location: 90 Belfield Rd. Etobicoke ON M9W 1G4
Key Responsibilities:
Perform light cleaning tasks including:
- Dusting desks shelves artificial plants and other surfaces
- Wiping down tables and chairs in cafeteria
- Empty utensil return/cleaning station in cafeteria
- Sweeping & light vacuuming in specificsmall areas as needed
- Flexible to follow simple instructions and completing tasks as directed by supervisor
Communicating issues or concerns to supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to perform tasks independently
Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Comfortable working around people
Comfortable navigating noisy and busy environments
Comfortable in the event of an Emergency Evacuation (training provided)
Comfortable escalating and asking for support when needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand bend and move around the office space for extended periods.
Able to wear required PPE
Light lifting (up to 20 pounds).
Ability to fill in daily cleaning log
Support Provided:
Training on specific cleaning tasks.
Clear and simple instructions for daily responsibilities.
Regular check-ins with a supportive supervisor to ensure comfort and understanding of tasks.
