Job Description
Lead Trauma Therapist PT

As a Lead Trauma Therapist Facilitator you will coordinate and facilitate Celebrating Families groups with families enrolled in the Tarrant Family Recovery Court program. Celebrating Families is an evidence-based trauma-informed skill building program for families with children ages birth -18 years old and their caregivers dealing with or at high risk for multiple problems: substance use disorders (SUD); multi-generational trauma; physical and mental health challenges; cognitive deficits due to trauma genetics or in-utero exposure; and safety (child abuse/neglect and family violence). Training on specific groups offered will be provided. If you are interested in and have experience with complex family challenges then this role is a good fit and will be very rewarding.
Minimum Education: Masters Degree in the field of health and human service field.
Licensed as an LCSW LMSW LPC LPC-A LMFT or LMFT-A.
Two years experience working with families in the health and human service field. Spanish-speaking a plus. Prior Trust Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI) training a plus.
