Starting pay $15 / hr.
Job Requirements:
- Must love pets!
- Ability to work holidays and weekends.
- Must be a self-starter but also able to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted.
- Ability to properly restrain pets for procedures.
- Greet clients with friendly enthusiasm.
- Ability to multi-task and stay on track.
- Detail oriented.
- Positive will-do attitude.
- Good computer skills.
- Checking patients in and out of boarding including going over paperwork with clients.
- Assisting technicians and doctors with appointments including pet restraint and interacting with clients.
- Walking dogs several times a day.
- Keeping kennels and cages clean throughout the day.
- Feeding and medicating boarding pets properly.
- Ensuring all pets have clean fresh water always.
- Keeping pets clean during their stay and ensuring cleanliness before being returned to the client.
- Keeping kennel areas odor free.
- Keep hospital grounds clean including outdoor pet waste receptacle.
