Overview
Were seeking a skilled and passionate Cardio Diagnostics Manager to lead a vital clinical function within our expanding healthcare team. This newly created full-time role offers the opportunity to shape the future of cardiovascular diagnostics while making a meaningful impact in a supportive community-based environment.
Located in the charming town of Paris Texas this position is ideal for an experienced cardiac sonographer or clinical leader seeking a high-quality lifestyle with lower cost of living and easy access to Dallas.
What Youll Do
- Lead and manage the operations of the Cardio Diagnostic Services department
- Perform and oversee diagnostic testing of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems
- Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnosis and patient care
- Maintain departmental performance improvement and CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) standards
- Assist in budget formulation and ensure resource optimization
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff ensuring excellence in service and compliance
- Perform hands-on echocardiographic procedures when needed
Required Qualifications
12 years of ultrasound experience in echocardiography
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification preferred; registry required within 14 months of hire
Current BLS certification
At least 3 years of prior experience in department-level management
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
