Job Description
Assist with the care of patients as delegated by the RN Physician or Mid-level provider. Provide secretary/clerical assistance. Tasks that may be delegated include but are not limited to vital signs accucheck ambulation simple (non-sterile) dressing changes toileting assistance EKGs patient transport to other departments answering the phone faxing preparing charts.
Additional Job Description
Education:
High school graduate
Complete Clinical Competencies required for assigned area before working off orientation.
Experience:
CNA Medical Assistant EMT Current RN or LPN student or preferred one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Licenses/Certificates:
BLS required
