Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service The Kuiper Customer Engagement Systems team owns all the software and services to manage a customers life cycle. Our team owns developing the architecture solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services; for example identity and account management subscriber management services user provisioning billing and payments customer and technical support tools offer management tools and customer metrics and analytics. As the Software Development Manager you will lead a team of engineers to solve these problems.

Key job responsibilities -Aid in the design and delivery of Telecom Components Applications and Services.
-Work with our peer teams and stakeholders to design suitable software systems and interfaces to fulfill the customer needs.
-Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team both from a software services and organization perspective.
-Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers.
-Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Project Kuiper.
-Help on-board and mentor new team members.
A day in the life You will work with Product Management and Business Stakeholders on defining the roadmap for Kuipers customer lifecycle. You will own solving this for multiple customer segments and building software that is flexible for many different customers and countries.
About the team The Kuiper Customer Engagement Systems team owns all the software and services to manage a customers life cycle.
- 3 years of engineering team management experience - 7 years of engineering experience - 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy - Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
