The Assistant Volleyball coach will assist the head coach in the planning and operation of a NCAA Division II (volleyball championship subdivision) program. Assist with the practice and game preparation as assigned; evaluate performances make recommendations to the head coach regarding individual participation in games.

All ODU administrators and staff are responsible for understanding the NCAA rules policies and regulations in the areas of admissions financial aid marketing and registration. Not abiding by these rules policies and regulations or purposely not reporting known violations could possibly lead to termination. Administrators are expected to participate in compliance related education and seminars and be familiar with the policies and procedures within Ohio Dominican University (ODU) Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and NCAA. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in exercise science sports administration management business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two to three years of experience in coaching and/or playing in the respective sport ideally at the intercollegiate Division II level. Ability to recruit highly skilled student-athletes. Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic. Knowledge of NCAA rules. Exceptional supervisory and communication skills along with the ability to work collaboratively with students faculty staff administrators and the community needed to do the job successfully. Proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel.
