Job Description
Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a part-time Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for the PM shift!
$20.00 per Hour Benefits Eligible
This position works 4:00pm-8:00pm on a 4-on 2-off rotation
The primary functions of aPCA are:
- Help residents with personal hygiene dressing bathing and other daily living tasks
- Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
- Monitor resident activity and functional status
- Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort
This is apart time position.(On-call/PRN may also be available)
Minimum qualifications are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based)
- Ability to life 150 pounds
Employment requirements include:
- Current COVID-19 vaccination (including 1 booster)
- Routine COVID tests
- Physical
- TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice (we fingerprint in house!)
