Job Description
This position will be involved in software and process design development and implementation for new functionalities and enhancements to business systems. Additionally you will work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Work on critical and complex projects where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making strategic solution recommendations
Act as the technical expert ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build system testing and implementation phases of project.
Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code test and debug programs.
Develop code document and execute unit tests systems integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
Engage other technical team members in the design delivery and deployment of solutions.
Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability availability and archiving) meet all SLAs.
Manage operational support performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.
Review and analyze technical needs
Conduct initial technical testing of all development
Present design reviews to extended teams of major changes
Assist in the investigation and resolution of system or process related issues
Understand the needs and requirements of the users by coordinating with their representatives and seeking clarity on every minute detail to provide the best possible solution
Develop workflow changes
Ensure that all programs are completed on schedule as per the users guidelines and allocating appropriate time to achieve this
Provide technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting guidelines and modifications to the system after it has been delivered
Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.

Required education certifications and experience
Minimum of 5 years of ABAP experience
Must understand the software development life cycle and be able to perform analysis design and development activities in accordance with development methodology
Should have implemented collaborative processes using REST services SFTP FILE IDOC RFC MAIL JDBC and HTTP adapters utilizing PROXY and Value Mapping Replication technologies
Required to have worked in at least one of the key modules FI-CO FS-CD
Ability to code in ABAP with best practices
Preferred education certifications and experience
HCP or Java experience as well as the ability to write functional specifications.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
Strong object orientation experience
Gateway development
HANA Exposure
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications
- Experience in configuring alerts RFC lookups BAPIs and BPMs preferred
