The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Engineer specializing in Electrical Control and Protection schematics. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineeringand have a strong background in designing implmening and managing electrical control andprotection systems. This role involves leading a team ensuring product / project delivery andmaintaining high standards of quality and safety and team of engineers
Your responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor group of engineers providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Project Execution: Oversee the design implementation and testing of electrical control and protection for high voltage switchgears like Live Tank Breakers or Dead Tank Breakers and or Gas Insulated Switchgear.
Customer Interaction: Collaborate with customers to understand requirements provide technical support and ensure satisfaction to customers requirements.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects are met its quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering on control and protection schemes. Conversant with IEEE / IEC standards related Switchgears are added advantage.
Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation including design specifications Manufacturing drawings / documentation test plans and reports.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across all products.
Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and guidelines external and internal regulations

Your background:
Bachelors / masters degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on control and protection schematics of substations / High Voltage Breakers
Proficiency in electrical schemes in control and protection or high voltage products like Live Tank Breakers / Dead Tank Breakers.
Very Good knowledge of CAE tools (Nice to have experience in e3 not mandatory)
Very Good knowledge of Protection & Control Systems for T & D / Gen Familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC IEEE ANSI etc... Ability to work with multiple discipline projectability to work in a team and maintain professionalism
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
