Job Description
Were looking for an experiencedFabric Engineerto join our team atAtlas Workplace Services working on-site at aworld-renowned university in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a prestigious environment where youll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the fabric of historic and modern buildings alike.
Youll be responsible for delivering high-qualityplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)andreactive maintenance ensuring the universitys facilities remain safe functional and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general fabric maintenance including:
- Carpentry
- Electrical maintenance
- Painting & decorating
- Plumbing maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies
- Deliver excellent service in a customer-facing environment
About You
Minimum Qualifications & Training
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade
- Recognised qualification in fabric engineering
- Fully time-served apprenticeship (desirable)
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role ideally within a large or complex site
- 1 year in a customer-facing outsourcing environment
- Background in property maintenance or facilities management
- Familiarity with CAFM systems (e.g. MAXIMO) and Android tablets
- Strong demonstrable skills across building services trades
- Good understanding of modern office software
