Were seeking an experienced Operations Manager within our International Home Entertainment team. This key position will orchestrate physical disc releases across Europe and Australia working with premier distribution partners while ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Asset Management & Distribution:
Oversee international new release physical home entertainment deliverables including metadata key art imagery and credit obligations
Coordinate cross-functionally with theatrical creative and operations teams for master SKU configuration
Manage asset trafficking for DVD Blu-ray and UHD releases to Physical Disc Distribution Partners
Ensure compliance with Earliest Avail Date requirements
Strategic Operations:
Lead external distributor communications for release date optimization
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for international physical distribution
Lead vendor transitions for library content
Track and monitor distribution release dates
Drive operational excellence through process optimization
Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with Physical Disc Distribution Partners for platform availability notices
Collaborate with distribution partner marketing teams
Interface with internal operational creative licensing and legal teams
Represent physical distribution interests in systems/process design initiatives
About the team
Amazon MGM Studios Distribution: AMSD is responsible for licensing content from Amazon Studios and the iconic MGM library. This includes beloved franchises like James Bond Rocky Creed and acclaimed series such as The Handmaids Tale Vikings and Fargo.
Previous experience in physical home entertainment distribution
Proven track record in operational management within major studios or distribution companies
Deep understanding of physical distribution models and industry trends
Expert knowledge of DVD Blu-ray and UHD distribution processes
Strong project management capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
