Job Description
We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of an Electrician on a 2-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.51 - 22.64 per hour
Summary:
Electrician required to carry out electrical works on void properties as part of our housing repairs and maintenance team. The role involves ensuring all electrical installations and repairs comply with current regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations repairs and testing in empty (void) residential properties
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in a timely and safe manner
- Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 wiring regulations
- Complete necessary documentation and job reports accurately
- Liaise with other trades and supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- ECS/CSCS card (if applicable)
- Experience working on social housing or void property repairs
- Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
