Join our excellent nursing team at OU Health Physicians Tulsa Womens Healthcare Specialists. Located at 41st and Yale in the heart of Tulsa our OBGYN nurses provide support to care for patients in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients and support the OBGYN physicians in delivering comprehensive medical care. Key responsibilities will include assisting in the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care within the OBGYN department. Conducting patient intake including taking medical histories vital signs and preparing patients for examinations. Administering medications vaccines and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Providing patient education on health maintenance disease prevention and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assisting with in-office procedures as needed. Coordinating patient referrals and follow-up appointments. Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care and participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
