You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere seeking an entry-level Scheduler and Shipping Coordinator to join our calibration laboratory team. This hands-on role is critical for the accurate and timely movement of valuable calibration equipment.
Salary: $17- $24/hr DOE
Schedule Management: Learn to precisely schedule the intake and dispatch of calibration equipment ensuring timely processing and adherence to handling requirements.
Equipment Handling & Packaging: Prepare package and label calibration equipment for secure shipment learning specialized techniques for sensitive instruments.
Compliance: Generate and verify necessary documentation for shipments adhering to applicable regulatory standards.
Receiving & Storage: Accurately receive inspect and properly store incoming calibration equipment and lab supplies maintaining meticulous inventory records.
Coordination: Assist in coordinating logistics with specialized couriers and internal teams for equipment movements.
Record Maintenance: Accurately enter and update data on calibration equipment status and location in our tracking systems.
Safety & Quality: Adhere to all lab safety protocols and quality guidelines for equipment handling.
Exceptional Attention to Detail & Precision: Essential for safeguarding delicate calibration equipment.
Strong Organizational & Planning Skills: Ability to manage multiple items and their schedules.
Tech Aptitude: Familiarity with computers; willingness to learn asset tracking software shipping tools and Excel.
Effective Communication: Clear and professional both written and verbal.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to logistical challenges.
Safety & Compliance Mindset: Commitment to lab safety and regulatory adherence.
Physical Aptitude: Capable of handling and packaging delicate items; light to moderate lifting with proper equipment.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
