SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst will assist with the preparation of consolidated annual budget and associated analysis which includes preparation of rolling quarterly forecasts and associated analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with the development and maintenance of productivity metrics and quarterly regional review reporting
Assisting with the on-going design and maintenance of a new budget/forecast and analysis tools
Continually assess effectiveness and efficiency of the Companys budgeting and forecasting processes identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
Analyzing the impact on the Companys budget and forecasts of non-routine events and transactions such as mergers acquisitions divestitures customer contracts and changes in benefit plans as directed
Assisting with the preparation of financial presentations to be used by the CFO/CAO at Senior Management Audit Committee and Board of Director meetings as directed
Other projects and duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Position requires good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels
Excellent Excel skills ability to quickly learn new computer programs and experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics and Microsoft Analysis Services cubes
Planning software and business intelligence tools a plus
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:
BS Accounting or Business Administration CPA preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years related experience MBA preferred
