Job Overview
Our engineering teams build and enhance Solactives indexing platform which calculates and manages tens of thousands of financial indices and portfolios in real time for clients worldwide. You will join our Index Data & Reporting Team responsible for tailoring and distributing calculation results business and regulatory data to clients and data vendors. The teams mission is to automate data-distribution workflows and provide a high degree of self-service for our business units and clients.
Your Tasks
As Engineering Manager you will lead a group of technical specialists working closely with stakeholders partner teams and senior management. You will set the roadmap ensure on-time high-quality delivery refine processes and coach team members so each can reach full potential. While your primary role is to guide the team uphold best practices and foster collaboration youre also expected to contribute hands-on to production code (50% of your time). Recent coding experience isnt required but a strong desire to stay technically involved is essential.
Your Profile
- At least 10 years of software-engineering experience with recent active coding work in the past few years.
- Previous success as an engineering manager is a plusprovided you have stayed hands-on and continued to ship production code yourself.
- You enjoy working closely with stakeholders to fully understand the business and to effectively drive the teams mission.
- You can navigate the organisation and manage cross-team projects.
- You combine strong analytical thinking with a proactive well-structured working style.
- You communicate clearlyeven in tough conversationsand steer them to productive outcomes.
- You enjoy helping your team grow and succeed.
