Wage Range: $22.75 to $29.54 hourly; depending on number of years of transferrable experience and internal equity

Public Health Services exists to improve the life health and safety of Yellowstone County residents at the population level. Services include the prevention of poor health outcomes protection of the public through immunizations and health inspections the promotion of healthy behaviors and more.
Coordinates and oversees the daily operations of public health accreditation and quality improvement including projects policies training and services.
A. Program Coordinator Responsibilities 20%
Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions.
Review public health protocols to ensure collection of data needed for regulatory submissions.
Participate in internal or external audits.
Compile and maintain regulatory documentation databases or systems.
Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations standards or guidance documents.
Identify relevant guidance documents international standards or consensus standards.
Interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through policies and procedures.
Maintain relevant inventories of supplies.
Provide or coordinate services for guests patients staff as necessary.
Participates in quality improvement and Emergency Preparedness activities.
B. Public Health Accreditation and Quality Improvement 75%
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the RiverStones mission and goals.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
Equivalent of two (2) years experience in a directly related field
Any combination of experience and training which provide the equivalent scope of knowledge skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Strong writing abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field
Experience in public health and/or accreditation standards
Experience in quality improvement and evaluation

Computer literacy including Excel Outlook and Word
Thorough knowledge of the administrative policies and procedures of the agency
Thorough knowledge of modern office procedures practices and equipment
Ability to manage time sensitive projects and meet deadlines in an accurate manner
Knowledge and understanding of protected sensitive patient health information (HIPAA) and confidentiality.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Responsible for program databases and reporting supervised by a Program Manager Program Director or VP.
Daily written and verbal communication with clinical staff as well as other medical and social service providers. Frequent participation in conference calls. Generates correspondence for purposes of policy updates/reminders to coordinate audits of facilities or to schedule clinics.
