Position: Joint Policy/Doctrine Analyst Location: Peterson SFB CO Clearance: TS with SCI Travel: 15% TTC is currently accepting applications for a Joint Policy/Doctrine Analyst. Selected Candidates reviews and analyzes DoD DAF USSF and CCMD policies strategies and doctrines to ensure HQ SpOCs alignment with higher headquarters guidance. This role provides recommendations to refine plans and supports strategic messaging efforts. This is an on-site position located at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs CO. This excellent opportunity requires the ideal candidate to be customer focused and willing to join a winning team. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: - Analyze 1-3 policy strategy or doctrine documents per month (e.g. USSF plans CCMD guidance) for SpOC equities and alignment.
- Provide recommendations for updates based on organizational changes or evolving environments (1 document/month).
- Support development of HQ SpOC plans by ensuring consistency with DoD DAF and USSF policy.
- Collaborate with acquisition entities (e.g. Space Systems Command Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office Space Development Agency) to integrate space capabilities.
- Contribute to technical assessments and written responses for deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols for classified material and CUI/PII.
- Support TDY travel and prepare trip reports within 5 days.
Required Skills Abilities and Competencies: - Bachelors degree in a related field (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of experience in DoD or USSF policy/doctrine analysis preferably in space operations.
- Knowledge of DoD DAF and USSF policy frameworks and acquisition processes.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing complex policy documents.
- Excellent writing skills for producing clear concise recommendations.
- Completed DoD AT Level I and IAA Cyber Awareness training.
- Active TS/SCI clearance
