We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Austin TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant IV you will lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on addressing complex client issues and driving innovative solutions in the health and benefits landscape.
We will count on you to:
Lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies.
Monitor the success of projects in terms of scope budget timeliness and client satisfaction.
Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
Set strategic direction and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
Build market presence by leading and presenting at industry seminars and conferences.
Leverage the companys size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.
What you need to have:
Proven experience in leading complex client engagements in health and benefits consulting.
Strong understanding of benefits design and renewal strategies.
Demonstrated ability to monitor project success and ensure client satisfaction.
Excellent negotiation skills to leverage competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.
