  • 33366 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available

As a Community Outreach Manager in the Outreach Fundraising and Volunteering team youll be as keen to collaborate and build a bright future as we are. Your role and responsibilities

As our Community Outreach Manager youll lead the delivery and development of Suffolk Community Libraries outreach services including Mobile Libraries the Home Library Service and Suffolk Community Libraries Local (pop-up libraries). Youll manage a passionate team of outreach staff and work closely with the Director of Outreach Fundraising and Volunteering to shape our future service offer.

On a typical day you might:

  • support and guide mobile library managers and Suffolk Community Libraries local staff
  • lead service improvement initiatives to increase usage and community reach
  • collaborate on strategic planning for the upcoming library contract retender
  • champion innovation and inclusion in how we deliver outreach

You will need

  • experience managing community-focused services or outreach programmes
  • strong leadership and people management skills
  • a passion for inclusive service delivery and community engagement
  • the ability to think strategically and deliver operational improvements.
