About the Role:
The Senior Digital Event Engagement Officer will collaborate with key stakeholders to plan and deliver engaging accessible and innovative digital event experiences. Youll drive the development of content workflows and platforms that elevate events across our diverse portfolio.
An example of the duties that you may undertake include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal staff and key event stakeholders.
- Provide specialist advice and high-level operational support on the use of digital solutions for event delivery including registration digital engagement and content distribution.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation and publishing of digital event materials and communications.
- Develop and maintain event web pages online forms and digital engagement tools.

This is a full time position at a HEP 7 classification with a salary range of $97863 $105932 per annum plus 17% superannuation working 36.75 hours per week in a continuing role.

- You are a digitally-savvy and detail-oriented event professional with a strong track record in planning coordinating and delivering digital and hybrid events that elevate audience engagement.

- You bring both creative thinking and technical expertise to your work using digital tools and content to deliver seamless branded event experiences.
- Collaboration is at the heart of how you operate you build strong relationships across teams communicate with clarity and purpose and foster a positive team-first culture.
- Youre passionate about creating accessible inclusive and engaging events that reflect VUs values. You embrace continuous improvement and bring energy curiosity and care to everything you do.
You will also have:
- A degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in event management and/or marketing communication and/or public relations or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Substantial experience in and a demonstrated understanding and awareness of the planning promotion and coordination of events across a diverse social professional disciplinary and cultural population.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to act independently and with initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to tailor content for digital channels and diverse audiences
- Demonstrated experience using event management platforms and digital communication tools including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g. InDesign Photoshop) to support branded event content
