Job Description
Teaching Assistant Positions Announcement
Foothills Elementary School is seeking a first grade Teaching Assistant.
This is a part-time position(20 hours/week).
Education Certification and Related Work Experience:
- High School Diploma (2 years college preferred)
- Meets highly qualified requirements for classified staff
Qualities of a Desired Candidate Include:
- Work closely with supervising teacher to provide support to students in the classroom.
- Ability to motivate students and commitment to student achievement and growth.
- Facilitate small reading and math group activities.
- Ability to positively interact with students.
- Demonstrate flexibility confidentiality integrity and professionalism.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by administration including flexibility in daily schedule.
