Job Description

Senior Supervisor Facilities Maintenance

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Supervisor of Facilities Maintenance to lead and coordinate the daily operations of our maintenance department. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel managing preventive maintenance programs ensuring equipment reliability and overseeing facility upkeepall while maintaining compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise train and coordinate maintenance technicians on day-to-day activities.
  • Assign and oversee completion of work orders repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to proactively identify issues.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety policies.
  • Manage tools parts and inventory of maintenance supplies.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to urgent repair needs.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized services or repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and equipment history.
  • Create and monitor Gantt charts and scheduling tools for equipment installations.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including downtime response time and maintenance costs.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce operational downtime.
  • Coordinate with planning and operations teams to align preventive maintenance efforts.
  • Track and evaluate employee performance providing coaching and feedback.
  • Assist in maintenance budget planning and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience including at least 13 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.
  • ISO 9001 experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Combination of office and on-site work within manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Fast-paced environment with regular physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs. working at heights and operating equipment.
  • Exposure to various temperatures and industrial conditions.
  • On-call availability for emergencies may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.

BENEFITS AND PAY:

  • Competitive salary range of $85k - $95k annually based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
