Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on highly skilled passionate and self-motivated Senior Cloud Architectto help lead Intelexs public cloud evolution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public cloud (preferably AWS and Azure) technologies excellent automation skills strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and great communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategy and architecture for a highly available secure and scalable cloud infrastructure -- including networking security performance automation monitoring tools and cost optimization
- Collaboratewith other CloudOps teams and Engineering on roadmap and execution
- Partner with InfoSec team to implement the best security practices
- Recommend single vs multi-cloud strategies and lead migrations as needed
- Research evaluate recommend and implement next-generation technologies as needed
- Represent Intelex (and CloudOps team) in technical meetings with customers partners & auditors
Key Requirements:
- 7 years in technical operations teams (CloudOps DevOps SRE Cloud Engineering) deploying and supporting highly available SaaS/production platforms
- 5 years of hands-on Linux/Unix/Windows System Administrationincluding OS installation/ hardening/patching networking firewalls load balancers SSH mail and DNS
- 2 years of experience as an AWS cloud architect Azure is bonus
- Strong hands-on automation (CI/CD pipelines) experience - GitHub ActionsOctopus Deploy Jenkins
- Strong Terraform knowledge with a focus in module creation best practices with security checks and automated module adjustments using CI actions
- Great scripting experience with Bash Python PowerShell
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization including experience with Azure AKS AWS ECS and EKS
- Solid experience withMS SQL Server and Oracle
- Experience deploying configuring and using monitoring tools (New Relic CloudWatch Azure Monitor)
- Good presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with CTOs Enterprise/Solutions Architects senior management and engineering staff
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- AWS Solutions Architect certification preferably Professional
Desired Requirements:
- Databases including Redis Azure SQL Database Amazon RDS/Aurora Snowflake MongoDB
- Experience AI technologies
