Job Title: Operations Manger

Job Summary:

Responsible for the process management and daily operational work order processing within the Adtalem account. Provide leadership to Facility Coordinators and works alongside the Account Director and Facilities Manager to maneuver the account both strategically and tactically. Ensure process and procedures are established and understood within the account team and by the customer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage and update all systems and services related to active or inactive facilities on a continued and frequent basis
  • Lead coach and mentor assigned Facility Coordinators in order to drive growth and development; Cross-functionally lead and partner with members of the account team procurement finance HR and the EMCOR Field Organization (dedicated and nondedicated) in order to accomplish account objectives
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement across all aspects of the account and implement new processes and/or technology as needed
  • Managed Services Management: Oversee vendor performance and service delivery of landscape snow removal pest control fire protection and subcontracted HVAC services across the account
  • Relationship Management: Engage in active communication with Adtalem Facility and Project Team EMCOR Account Team and the EMCOR Field Organization
  • Special Project Management: Lead coordinate and facilitate all special customer projects or events including but not limited to catastrophe-relief and accreditation requirements
  • Identify any safety-related issues and report to Account Manager and Facility Manager immediately

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree Preferred
  • 3-5 years in Facility Management
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspond accordingly. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumferences and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
