BI Architect Preferred Onsite (Virginia Beach)
We are looking for a BI Architect to lead the design and implementation of a modern data platform and BI solution leveraging Snowflake Azure and PowerBI supporting the clients data modernization journey.
Responsibilities:
Define and drive the overall BI and data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
Design the Medallion architecture on Snowflake including landing zones (Azure Blob) DataMart and semantic layers.
Lead data modelling efforts for Marketing Finance Supply Chain and other domains.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Developers to ensure architectural standards and best practices.
Guide report rationalization and new BI development efforts.
Provide hands-on architectural oversight and mentoring to the delivery team.
Interface with client stakeholders and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
Support AI BI initiatives such as Cortex for enhanced analytics.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience designing modern BI and data platforms using Snowflake Azure and Power BI.
Deep understanding of cloud data architectures Medallion architecture and data governance.
Strong leadership skills with ability to work onsite and bridge client and delivery teams.
Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Daxter and DBT.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to be onsite in Virginia Beach preferred flexible for onshore if needed.
