Job Description
Role Senior Consultant
Technology Java 1.8 Spring Framework Restful Services (JAX-RS) REST and SOAP API Java Testing Frameworks Openshift
Location Burgess Hill UK
Compensation Competitive (including bonus)
Infosys is seeking Senior Java Full Stack developer (Lead Developer)
Required Qualifications
Experienced Java Full stack developer with at least 7 years of hands-on expertise in both front-end and back-end development and strong proficiency in following technologies
- Java 1.8 Spring Framework Spring Batch Restful Services (JAX-RS) REST and SOAP API Java Testing Frameworks(JUnit Mockito PowerMockito) Vertx/Spring Boot Microservices JPA/JDBI or Mybatis Openshift ORM Framework Schedulers Appdynamics/Grafana.
- Experience with designing developing and maintaining enterprise grade highly scalable Java based applications
- Strong expertise in Java Spring/Spring Boot Hibernate/JPA
- Front end development experience with JavaScript Angular React or similar frameworks
- Experience with SQL (Oracle DB2) and NoSQL databases (MySQL MongoDB Couchbase)
- Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus
- Strong experience in Agile with knowledge of ceremonies. CSM or PMI ACP will be added advantage.
- Good experience with version control (e.g. GIT) CI/CD tools Jenkins XLR etc
- Working knowledge on Automation Tools e.g. Selenium Cucumber etc
- Additionally knowledge of following technologies would be an advantage:
- Docker Framework Redis DB SonarQube Kafka Loadrunner Jira Confluence Kubernetes (or similar technology) ELK Integration (Elasticsearch Logstash & Kibana)
- Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions
- Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems
- Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
- Demonstrated willingness to upskill on new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
- Ability to effectively communicate across third parties technical and business product managers on solution design is a plus
- Experience with Agile application development concepts including build automation pair programming testing automation and code management (branching and forking etc.)
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience in Financial Services domain
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Ability to lead a technology development team as Lead Developer
- Experience in Financial Services domain and specifically on Credit Card domain
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
