Data Scientist Junior (Portfolio Management)

The Portfolio Management team is the key point of contact for clients/investors (typically PE funds) analyzing the portfolio performance suggesting new strategies and coordinating all internal teams. Portfolios are mostly NPL/REO books although performing loans are also included in scope. Thus we encourage you to sign up and become part of this great team.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis

• Responsibilities will range from conducting quantitative investment analysis to preparing and attending investor presentations (typically in English).
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Python SQL Power BI) to support data-driven decision-making across investment and asset management activities.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of internal processes including automation and digital transformation initiatives using Python Flask/Django or C#.
• Assist in the development of web applications and internal tools using React and modern web frameworks to streamline reporting portfolio monitoring and financial modeling.
• Structure design and generate management and performance reports integrating real-time data insights and visualizations.
• Support the integration of machine learning models for predictive analysis in areas such as property valuation investment risk and market trends.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions and continuously enhance the analytical infrastructure.

What knowledge and skills will you need to have to succeed in the position

• University or Masters degree in Economics Finance Business Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong interest or background in applying technology and data science to financial analysis investment modeling or real estate analytics.
• Proficient in MS Office tools particularly Excel; comfortable working with Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence reporting.
• Practical experience or familiarity with Python and its key data libraries (Pandas NumPy Matplotlib scikit-learn etc.) for data analysis and machine learning.
• Knowledge of SQL for data querying and database management.
• Ability to manage multiple technology-driven projects under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical procedural and critical thinking skills with a tech-savvy and data-driven approach.
• Fluency in English is mandatory (both oral and written).
• Demonstrated interest in Debt/Real Estate investment Private Equity and leveraging technology data and machine learning in the financial sector.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to backend web development using Flask or Django and frontend development using React.
• Familiarity with C# for application development in business or financial environments.
• Excellent organizational communication writing and interpersonal skills.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and take initiative.
