VFA Learning Geelong is a dynamic Registered Training Organisation committed to the success and supportive care of our students.
Based at our Geelong Yarra Street Campus we are looking for a Nurse Placement Coordinator to join the VFA team.
The welcoming team atmosphere at VFA Learning promotes a positive work environment for those interested in further developing their teaching skills. The successful incumbent will be responsible for coordinating preparing and effectively administering both the Nursing Simulation Lab and Professional Placements. They will work with the Head of Nursing team to ensure high-quality training delivery and optimal student outcomes in alignment with VFA Learnings strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
The Nursing Placement and Simulation Lab Coordinators day may include:
- Coordinate operational requirements of the Simulation Lab and placement administration
- Source order and manage simulation lab equipment stock and student lab kits
- Assist nursing trainers to set up and pack down lab sessions where required
- Plan coordinate and allocate student placements in collaboration with the HoNH
- Maintain documentation compliance requirements
- Manage VFA administration and bookings
- Liaise with placement providers and facilitate communication with HoNH and trainers during placement
Requirements:
- Working with Childrens Check
- Recent health industry knowledge and professional experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and administration learning management systems
- Understand current standards of RTOs

To be considered you must
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Complete anAustralia History Criminal Check
- Must have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
