Job Description

This is an adjunct CNA Instructor faculty position through Customized Training Solutions. Compensation is based on individual teaching assignments. Instructors may take on multiple assignments based on availability and program needs.

Salary Range:

$40$50 per hour or $1000$1200 per college credit taught depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirement
Diploma or associate degree in nursing.

Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care one year must be in long term care.


Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.


Professional Requirement
Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Other Requirements

In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota States vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.

A job offer may be contingent upon successfully passing a background check. The background check may consist of the following components:

Employment Record Review (current and former State employees only)

Employment Reference Check

Conflict of Interest Review
