Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Feasibility:
- Conduct market research and site evaluations.
- Analyze financial feasibility including ROI IRR and development costs.
- Work with brokers consultants and stakeholders to assess site potential.
- Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines budgets and milestones.
- Coordinate with architects engineers construction teams and legal counsel.
- Manage entitlements zoning permitting and community approvals.
- Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage pro formas and budgets.
- Secure project financing (e.g. loans investor funding).
- Monitor cost control and cash flow throughout development.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Report to investors company leadership or joint venture partners.
- Serve as a liaison between government agencies communities and project teams.
- Execution & Delivery:
- Ensure quality construction timely completion and compliance with plans.
- Manage tenant improvements or leasing coordination for occupied buildings.
- Transition completed projects to asset or property management.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance zoning laws and construction processes.
- Proficiency with tools like Excel financial models Procore or project management software.
- Experience in commercial real estate (e.g. office industrial retail).
- Background in urban planning architecture real estate finance or construction management.
- A bachelors or master s degree in Real Estate Business Engineering or Architecture
