Job Description
- Review and analyze blueprints specifications and roofing project proposals.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing projects including labor materials equipment and permits.
- Perform site visits to gather information and details necessary for accurate estimates.
- Negotiate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit quotation proposals to clients.
- Coordinate with project managers and sales teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Track and adjust cost estimates based on project changes and updates.
- Stay updated on industry trends material costs and competitor pricing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Detailed knowledge of roofing systems materials and installation processes.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as estimation and CAD software.
- High school diploma; degree in construction management engineering or related field is a plus.
