Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring Staff Nurse - Endoscopy into a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Gives designated patients direct care.
- To guarantee that patients undergoing endoscopy receive excellent nursing care while adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Carries out doctors orders for all assigned patients; gives prescriptions and treatments in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Alerts the proper medical and nursing personnel to any changes in the patients condition.
- Carries out tasks on their own and takes charge of the treatment of patients they are assigned.
- Carries out methods and procedures in the field of specialty services.
- Carries out appropriate aseptic practices isolation protocols and infection control measures or helps others do so.
- Tracks nurse care in the hospitals Meditech system and in all allocated patient records.
- All patient information and records private and confidential at all times.
- Considers the patients reaction when evaluating the care provided.
Requirements
- Nursing & Midwife Board of Ireland (NMBI) Registered General Nurse licence in good standing.
- Minimum of 1-year post registration experience in an acute setting.
- Awareness of professional responsibilities.
- 6 months experience working within the endoscopy setting.
- Endoscopy specific qualifications.
