You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position is responsible for sales of new machines to domestic customers and sales in the after-sales business at the Japanese subsidiary of Syntegon one of the worlds largest manufacturers of various packaging machines for filling and sterilization in pharmaceutical and food production lines.
-Sales activities for new machine projects or after-sales services such as regular maintenance software and part replacement modification and upgrades (response to inquiries specification meetings submission of quotations acceptance of orders)
-Meetings with internal and customers regarding machine specifications and delivery dates
-Follow-up from acceptance of project (project) after order acceptance and collection of sales
-Internal processing of each project (creation of quotes order processing issuance of invoices etc.)
-Handling customer complaints liaison and coordination with overseas factories (pre-sales department and overseas bases)
This position is responsible for receiving orders from customers in Japan. By quickly and accurately handling customer needs you can generate steady sales and profits. Since machine products are required to operate stably for long periods of time you will be required to respond quickly such as adjusting delivery dates including overseas and securing alternative products and this is an important job that will build and improve product quality and brand image. This is a workplace where you will be involved in cutting-edge manufacturing process technology while meeting the needs of customers mainly pharmaceutical and food manufacturers as a world-leading brand.

Experience required
- Experience in proposal sales/technical sales at an industrial machinery manufacturer (machines/devices that operate in the manufacturing process at customer factories) (5 years or more)
- Experience using English in business (TOEIC score of 500 or higher)
- Japanese: Native level
- IT literacy (able to make presentations using a laptop PC)
Experience that is desirable
- Work experience related to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing
- Science background experience in technical position
