Tasks
Under the direct supervision of the Business Domain Relationship Manager (BDRM) and the Odoo Senior PM the Odoo Developer/Technical Consultant will assume and/or assist in delivering the following tasks:
As Technical Consultant youll be responsible for the development of high quality Odoo modules and integration interfaces with other EEAS systems
As an Odoo certified Senior Developer youll participate in functional analysis and perform the technical analysis for the required customization of the Odoo ERP software
Ensure that delivered Odoo ERP is implemented following the best practices in terms of data model business logic code quality and unit test
As a technical expert of Odoo and its features you will assist the other team members in understanding issues configurations or complex business process in a highly interconnected IT environment.
Knowledge and skills
Strong background in programming concepts as well as the Odoo framework Programming Languages:
Odoo FrameWork (Python & JavaScript)
Web services: REST API Fast API xml-rpc json-rpc
Templating language: Qweb
Database: PostgreSQL
Collaboration platform: GitHub enterprise
Object-oriented programming language object modelling and relational database
Knowledge of the Odoo Community Association ecosystem
Passion for development
Ability to respect deadlines to report in a structured way communication and presentation skills towards small to medium audience required
Ability to learn and evolve quickly
Fluent in English and good command of French.
Team spirit
The following specific experience and skills would be an asset:
Specific expertise in Odoo ERP for Human Resources projects Technical certification(s)
Odoo Front-end expertise: Bootstrap css saas

ACCEPTANCE OF THE SERVICE DELIVERED
The deliverables due dates and quality requirements are defined by the EEAS officials in charge of the team and they must be strictly adhered to without deviation. Any delay or deviation are not acceptable unless explicitly accepted by the EEAS officials in advance. Adherence to this is essential to meet the expected standards and ensure the successful acceptance of the services.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
The place of delivery is on-site unless otherwise agreed upon acceptance of the service provider. This implies that all service providers must work at EEAS premises in Brussels and respect the organizational structure and security rules.
Delivery of service will take place on normal EEAS service days (from Mondays to Fridays inclusive except EEAS holidays) 8 hours a day with mandatory core-hours (from 10 to 12h and from 15h to 17h Brussels time). Exceptionally and only upon request by the EEAS it may be necessary to deliver services outside the normal working days and the EEAS working days.
Every day of provided services the service providers shall complete their timesheet by recording the hours worked. At the end of each month the timesheet is sent to the EEAS for acceptance.
The service providers are responsible for organizing their own transportation to arrive at the EEAS premises on time. No parking lots will be provided or available on site.
The EEAS will provide the service providers with all necessary IT equipment for the provision of the services (laptop peripherals connection - in EEAS premises only VPN applicable software). The service providers shall only use the equipment provided unless exceptional written authorization by the EEAS. When working from home is allowed the connection to the Internet network shall be provided by the service provider or the Contractor.
The service providers are required to consistently report to the EEAS officials for all tasks performed under this contract. All contractual discussions are to be handled solely between the service provider and the Contractor.
OTHER PRECISIONS
All service providers proposed by the contractor must obtain a personal security clearance (PSC) up to SECRET UE/EU SECRET or EU Member State equivalent. Upon the acceptance of each service provider the contractor must initiate and finalize the process of the PSC.
A security vetting will also be performed by the EEAS for each service provider in order to identify any potential risk associated with granting them access to the EEAS systems and areas.
Qualifications :
Education Level:
A secondary school diploma (12 years of education) and relevant certifications are required for all technical profiles.
Please note: One year of relevant study is considered equivalent to one year of professional experience. A period of time can count only once (either as studies or as professional experience).
Language Skills:
English at C1 level minimum.

Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
All consultants will need to have a base with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines. Please mention it explicitly on the CVs (mandatory requirement).
