Seasonal Laboratory Technician - Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest, Calscience, Tustin, CA

Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest- Tustin CA is searching for a Seasonal Laboratory Technician in the VOA department to prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA protocols in adherence with Eurofins Quality Assurance programs and SOPs.

Laboratory Technician duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare water and soil samples for analysis by Purge and Trap Gas Chromatography
• Monitor and manage backlog workload to meet client program requirements
• Perform general housekeeping within the laboratory to maintain an organized and safe working environment
• Conduct daily duties in an efficient and safe manner remaining compliant with environmental health and safety programs
• Performing other laboratory duties as assigned

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications                                                                  

• Effective time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to perform and evaluate basic mathematical calculations and formulas
• Ability to work independently following written and verbal instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information :

Compensation range: $17 per hour 

Position is full-time temporary with duration to be determined.  Overtime and weekends as needed.

Must be able to work the following shift: 

• Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
