Leading and managing a maintenance team in support of all operational goals and requirements to ensure the continued service to all building systems. All efforts will focus on the goal of a reliable and efficient work environment. Responsible for leading team of various trades in their day-to-day operations while maintaining quality and compliance in order to meet client requirements. Oversee inventory maintenance and repair of department machines tools equipment materials and/or products. Develop resource plans that meet operational goals in terms of safety quality risk management output and cost. Manage vendors contractors and service contracts. Provide improvements to the preventative and predictive maintenance program.
Additional specific responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day activities which include all work orders contracted outside services and facility-related emergencies
- Inspect maintain and report electrical mechanical and other related systems in all departments of facility including process equipment interior and exterior
- Supervise and prioritize work of the maintenance technicians communicating expectations of timelines and responsibilities
- Build a culture of teamwork and support coach and motivate associates to achieve facility goals
- Communicate clear standards and hold team accountable to personnel and equipment SOPs and other regulatory requirements
- Responsible for problem solving to resolve and/or mitigate those issues that may negatively impact production
- Ensure the department meets or exceeds performance requirements in the areas of safety cost control quality flexibility reliability and customer control
- Maintain adequate inventory of parts
- Work with other managers/supervisors to mitigate risk identify problem items and develop solutions
- Monitor the quality and productivity of the department
- Participate in the annual evaluation/review of associates
- Estimate costs associated with given PMs and projects
- Manage outside contractors ensuring safe operation while onsite
- Maintain and implement preventative maintenance/calibration programs in accordance with SOPs cGMPs and industry expectations
- Effectively communicate with clients and internal groups
Qualifications :
- At lease an Associates degree preferably in in business management and/or three years of on the job management
- Knowledge of departmental techniques

Additional Information :
