Qualifications :
What Youll Do
Procure trucks secure delivery rates and coordinate shipments for our internal sites and third-party facilities.
Communicate closely with plants terminals and customer service teams to confirm delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels with business units to ensure delivery readiness.
Respond to transportation-related inquiries and resolve service issues professionally.
Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities in shipping operations.
Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external carriers.
Crosstrain within the team and support broader transportation functions.
Develop and deliver training content to strengthen team capabilities.
Apply sound decision-making skills using data timelines and operational insights.
What Youll Bring
High school diploma or GED (required).
5 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related environment.
Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations (49CFR) and NMFC guidelines.
Skilled in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Effective communication active listening and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to perform under pressure manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong negotiation and carrier management experience.
Team player with a big-picture mindset and strong personal accountability.
Comfortable training others and sharing knowledge with teammates.
Physical Requirements
Frequent movement including standing walking sitting reaching and hearing.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to support various logistics environments.
