Job Description
- Participating in customer visits with the sales team to provide hands-on technical support and product expertise
- Commissioning and troubleshooting systems on-site especially for prototype and first-time installations
- Leading and/or supporting in-house and customer-specific trainings to build technical knowledge around our automation and electrification solutions
- Following up on technical requirements opportunities and customer feedback both independently and alongside sales teams
- Supporting new projects by working directly with customers to define technical specs and recommend product solutions
- Acting as a go-to technical contact for our Automation Electrification (AE) product range responding to inquiries and guiding product usage
- Staying current with AE product developments and sharing key updates internally and with clients
- Contributing to the introduction of new strategies and improvements especially in areas focused on innovation and optimization
- Representing the technical perspective in front of customers and management with confidence and ownership
- Offering expert-level guidance to both colleagues and third parties in your area of technical specialization
Qualifications :
- A degree in Mechatronics Electrical & Electronics or Software Engineering
- 23 years of hands-on experience in the field or in technical support roles
- Solid English communication skills
- Willingness to travel frequently (around 5060% of the time)
- A background in construction machinery or hydraulics is definitely a plus
- Familiarity with PLC (CODESYS ais a plus) C programming and communication protocols like EtherCAT PROFINET or CANopen would be helpful
- A curious mind a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to different situations in the field
