We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment. - Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards
- Lead train and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service and maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and brand guidelines.
- Manage inventory supplies and equipment ensuring proper stock levels and cost-effective usage
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Create and manage staff schedules assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally taking appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping staff
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to housekeeping operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve housekeeping processes
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Superior attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of housekeeping management software
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply ordering processes
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management education is a plus
