Tasks and Duties
- Receive and review export documents from USPPI.
- Receive and review export routing information and details from nominated freight forwarder.
- Prepare export customs entries in our proprietary system or other customs software.
- Understand the elements of the Export customs SOPs.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
- Ensure timely export customs clearance of shipments.
- Monitor export customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
- Extract required data and information from customer supplied reports
Physical Demands
- Use of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse phone fax/copy/scan machine etc.
- Write with pencil/pen/marker.
Functions performed primarily while seated at desk
Qualifications :
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- Good computer skills (e.g. MS Excel MS Word)
- Fluent in English
Other preferred (not required) qualifications:
- Experience in filing/preparing Export Compliance information for U.S. Customs
- U.S. Export compliance knowledge/familiarity
- Fluent in English
