Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate diagnostic imaging examinations.
- Interpret radiologic images and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
- Advise on appropriate imaging methodologies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.
- Supervise radiologic technologists and staff.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies effectively.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Evaluate patient history for accurate diagnosis.
- Assist in the implementation of new imaging techniques.
- Develop treatment plans based on radiologic findings.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
- Provide timely and accurate communication of results.
- Foster a supportive environment for patients during examinations.
Qualifications:
- MD in Radiology (DNB preferred).
- DMRD certification is highly desirable.
- State medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging technologies.
- Strong understanding of radiologic procedures.
- Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Adaptability to emerging imaging technologies.
- Commitment to continuing education in radiology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostics.
